Sara blends a unique background in workers compensation with experience as both a claims adjuster and Registered Nurse in orthopedics, rehabilitation, certified managed care, and nurse care management. As a case manager, Sara is focused on getting injured employees back to good health and productivity for themselves, their families, and their employers. In her free time, Sara enjoys building and rehabbing furniture, spending time with family, and teaching and coaching youth bowling.
KATIE KNOCHE, ACCOUNT MANAGER, CORVEL
Katie is an experienced account manager with a background as a workers compensation adjuster and retail manager. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, Katie spends her free time with friends and family, watching sports, and trying new restaurants.
DR. THEO AQUINO, DO, MBA, MSPH BOARD CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PHYSICIAN, MINNESOTA OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
As a medical officer with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Aqunio oversaw medical operations for a squadron of globally deployed ships, and served as a reservist battalion surgeon for the U.S. Marines. A board certified occupational health physician, Dr. Aquino also holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Public Health.

Mark is one of Minnesota’s first Certified Work Comp Advisors and is a member of the first agency advisor council for one of Minnesota’s largest self-insured funds. Mark is a long-time speaker and educator on workers compensation, working tirelessly with the Minnesota Comp Advisor team to control and minimize the impact of claims, drive down experience mods, and save money on insurance premium.
